There are many types of subdivisions. Here are a few:
- Major Subdivision: Depending on the town or county, these are generally where you are creating three or more lots from a larger parcel. Regulations vary (like minimum lot size) so it is best to be sure you have sat down with your local planner and discussed your project. They will go over the process and fees. Once this has been accomplished we can help you create the required plats.
- Minor Subdivision: These are generally where you are creating a couple of lots from one parcel. Regualtions are simpler and fees usually lower but you still want to sit down with your planner first.
- Lot Consolidations (Lot Line Vacation): This is a subset of a minor subdivision.
